abstract |
A heat-shrinkable polyester film characterized in that (A) the degree of heat shrinkage in 70°C water is 10 to 50% as measured in the maximum shrinkage direction, (B) the degree of heat shrinkage in 85°C water is 70% or higher as measured in the maximum shrinkage direction and is 10% or lower as measured in the direction perpendicular to the maximum shrinkage direction, and (C) the difference in heat shrinkage Δ (%) shown by the following equation is 10 to 20%, provided that X0 (%) is the degree of heat shrinkage in 95°C water as measured in the maximum shrinkage direction and X10 (%) is the degree of heat shrinkage of a 10%-heat-shrunk film in 95°C water as measured in the maximum shrinkage direction.
