The present invention concerns a polymer compositionncomprising: a block copolymer (a) including a polymer block A,nwhich is composed mainly of an α-methylstyrene, and anhydrogenated or unhydrogenated polymer block B, which isncomposed of a conjugated diene or isobutylene and has a weightnaverage molecular weight of 30,000 to 200,000; an acrylicnresin (b); and a softener (c), nwherein proportions (by mass) of the respective components innthe polymer composition are such that each of the followingnrelationships (1) and (2) holds:n 0.05 ≦ Wb/Wa ≦ 2 nandn Wc/(Wa + Wb + Wc) ≦ 0.5 nwherein Wa, Wb, and Wc represent amounts (by mass) of thenblock copolymer (a), the acrylic resin (b) and the softenern(c), respectively. n The polymer composition obtainable in accordance with thenpresent invention is favorable in terms of such physicalnproperties as formability, scratch resistance, abrasionnresistance, flexibility, mechanical strength, rubbernelasticity, and transparency and exhibits these properties inna well-balanced manner. By exploiting these favorablenproperties, the polymer composition can be effectively used inna wide range of applications, including stretchable materials, nlaminates, and foams. |
