Magnetic resonance imaging fixture mounting |
abstract |
A magnet (122) which has a pair of opposed elements (124) define a patient-receiving gap (126) between them. An elongated patient support (130) has a patient-receiving surface (132). The lateral dimension of the patient support (130) is parallel to the magnet axis (128). The mounting unit (20) and fixture-receiving unit (50) can be used to mount any type of fixture appropriate for the area of interest. |
