abstract A compressor has a swash plate and shoes. Surfaces ofnthe swash plate slides on flat surfaces of the shoes. Ansliding film is formed on each of the swash plate surfaces.nThe sliding films are formed of a polyamide-imide resin thatncontains at least solid lubricant. The polyamide-amide resinnhas a glass transition temperature of 270°C, a tensilenstrength at room temperature of 200 MPa, or more imide groupsnthan amide groups. When a base portion of the swash plate isnmade of an aluminum-based metal, the sliding films are formednon the base portion with middle layers made of anodizednaluminum in between.
