abstract |
A polylactic acid molding and a process for producing the same. The polylactic acid has an optical purity of 90% or higher, and the amount of residual lactides therein is in the range of 0.1 to 0.6% by mass. 1 to 25% by mass of a nucleating agent is contained in a resin composition. With respect to the molding, the remainder of, when measured by a differential scanning calorimeter under 20 °C /min heat-up conditions, the absolute value of heat of crystal melting (ΔHm) minus the absolute value of heat of heat-up crystallization (ΔHc) attributed to crystallization during the heat-up (|ΔHm |- |ΔHc |) is 25 J/g or greater; the degree of crystallization by X-ray measurement is 35% or greater; and the rate of crystallization at 130 °C is 0.05 min-1 or higher. |
