Medicaments containing active ingredients which lower the level of cholesterol with time-delayed active ingredient release |
abstract |
The invention relates a medicament containing at least one active ingredient which lowers the level of cholesterol in the blood. Said medicament is characterised in that it contains an agent which makes available a releasing characteristic for the active ingredient, whereby the active ingredient is released according to at least two different release speeds, i.e. within a first period of time at a first release speed and within a subsequent second period of time at a second release speed which is higher than the first release speed. The second period of time begins 2 - 12 hours after the administration of the medicament. |
