The invention relates to a coordination complex system comprising anligand having at least two donor moieties, which are complexed to at least anmetal selected from a transition metal and lanthanide, characterized innthat the ligand comprises at least two building blocks, each having atnleast one functional group and at least one donor moiety, wherein onenbuilding block is non-covalently bonded through its functional group tona complementary functional group of another building block or of antemplate, wherein the template comprises at least one other functionalngroup that is non-covalently bonded to a complementary functional groupnof another building block, and wherein all buildingnblock-template-building block structures are the same when the templatencontains more than two functional groups. n The coordination complex system is used as a catalyst, preferably fornhydroformylation, hydrogenation, transfer hydrogenation, hydrocyanation,npolymerization, isomerization, carbonylation, cross-coupling,nmetathesis, CH activation, allylic substitution, aldol condensation, andnMichael addition. |
