abstract | A method of dyeing the hair comprising a newly grown hair part and a dyed hair part, characterized by (A) applying to the newly grown hair part an oxidation hairdye (I) which comprises an oxidation dye, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide and in which the ammonia concentration is 0.2 to 3.0 wt.% and the hydrogen peroxide concentration is 2.5 to 5.0 wt.% and (B) applying to the dyed hair part an oxidation hairdye (II) which comprises an oxidation dye, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide and in which the ammonia concentration is 0.1 to 1.5 wt.% and the hydrogen peroxide concentration is 0.01 to 2.0 wt.%; and a hairdye set suitable for use in this method of hair dyeing. By the method, the hair comprising a newly grown hair part and a dyed hair part can be wholly dyed in an even color tone. |
