A modified polymer having a hydroxyl value of 1 to 100 mgKOH/g, which is obtained by addition reaction of a compound (b) having one or more hydroxyl groups and a polymerizable unsaturated bond to a cyclized product (a) of a conjugated diene polymer having a cyclization degree of 30 to 95%. A coating material comprising this modified polymer is suitable as a primer imparting enhanced adhesion, or a coating liquid or an ink exhibiting enhanced adhesion, to various shaped articles, especially an olefin resin shaped article. |
