The present invention relates to a method and a device for cleaning and decontaminating mechanical parts for medical use, in particular dental or orthopedic implants. This device (10) comprises processing means for subjecting the parts to a plasma treatment under a controlled atmosphere assisted by microwave or radio frequency waves. These processing means include a plasma generator (12) called cold and a generator (13) of microwaves or radio frequency waves.
