A photopolymerization initiator comprising (A) annĪ±-diketone compound such as camphorquinone, (B1) annaliphatic amine compound such as triethanolamine or N-methyldiethanolamine,n(B2) an aromatic amine compoundnsuch as ethyl p-dimethylaminobenzoate or N,N-dimethyl p-toluidine,nand (C) a triazine compound substituted withna trihalomethyl group, such as 2,4,6-tris(trichloromethyl)-s-triazinenor 2-phenyl-4,6-bis(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine.nThenphotopolymerization initiator remains stable against thenenvironmental light such as the indoor illuminationnlight from a fluorescent lamp or the dental lightnilluminating the interior of the oral cavity, isnexcellently handled, is quickly cured by the irradiationnwith an intense light emitted from a light irradiatornfor polymerization, provides a cured body havingnexcellent properties, can be stably preserved even atnhigh temperatures, and is very useful as a dentalncomposite resin. |
