The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions, comprising deuterated substituted pyrazolylbenzylsulfonamides and the physiologically-acceptable salts thereof, in addition to pharmaceutically-acceptable adjuncts and/or additives, for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, reduction and treatment of neoplasia, in particular adenomatoidal colorectal polyps in the case of familial adenomatoidal polyposis, for the treatment of pain, in particular acute pain and dysmenorrhoea, in particular primary dysmenorrhoea.
