titleOfInvention Analysis of urea in a liquid by the use of an electronic tongue
abstract The method comprises in its broadest embodiment analysis of urea in a liquid, in the form of blood, other urea containing body fluids, dialysate or a combination thereof, by bringing the liquid, in contact with an electronic tongue comprising at least one working electrode. A voltage pulse sequence is applied to the electrodes. The pulse amplitudes can be different for different electrodes, and suitably the amplitudes are varied between negative potentials and positive potentials.
