A method of separating a protein characterized in that the protein absorbed by a claynmineral composition is separated by using one or more members selected from angroup consisting of fatty acid esters having 30 or less carbon atoms in the fatty acidnresidue. According to this method, a target protein can be conveniently andneconomically obtained in a large amount on an industrial scale at a high efficiencynwithout deteriorating its functions (for example, lowering the enzymatic activity).nThus, the protein can be concentrated and purified. |
