titleOfInvention Aqueous iron chelate composition
abstract The invention relates to an aqueous iron chelate composition consisting essentially of water, an iron chelate, and a compound of formula RC(O)NH2, wherein R represents an NH2 or a C1-C8 alkyl group. More preferably, R represents and NH2 or a methyl group. A preferred iron chelate is Fe-EDDHA. The invention further relates to a process for preparing said composition and to the use of said composition for treating iron deficiency in soils. Typically, the invention compositions have a high content of iron and are stable for a prolonged period of time.
