A prefilled syringe composed of a barrel (10) having a luer tip (11) at one end and an open proximal end (10a), the barrel (10) having at least a three layer structure of an innermost layer (15), an outermost layer (16), both made of a polyolefin resin, and an intermediate layer (17) made of a resin with a barrier property and sandwiched by the innermost layer (15) and the outermost layer (16). The barrel (10) is produced through the sequential steps of: (a) injecting a specific amount of a polyolefin resin (120) inside a cavity (90); (b) injecting a specific amount of a resin (140) excelling in barrier property; (c) injecting a specific amount of the polyolefin resin (120) again; and (d) separating the luer tip surface (11b) and an injection unit (170) by pushing off a valve pin (181) provided inside a valve gate (180) or an inner nozzle (131) of the injection unit (170), which injects the resin (140) excelling in barrier property, toward the direction of the luer tip surface (11b) as desired. <IMAGE> |
