abstract | The present invention provides a lightweight clay which can beneasily molded into a given shape, exhibits proper lightweight characteristicsnand storing characteristics, and can be manufactured at a low cost, and anmanufacturing method thereof. In such a lightweight clay and thenmanufacturing method thereof, an average particle size of the organicnhollow micro spheres is set to a value which falls within a range of 15 ton150 µm and, an addition quantity of the organic hollow micro spheres is setnto a value which falls within a range of 0.1 to 6 weight% with respect to antotal quantity of the lightweight clay, and whiteness degree(WL) measurednin accordance with JIS L 0803 is set to not less than 50. |
