Self-curable water-based solid adhesives ofthisinventionninclude the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D):n (A) an anionic-group-containing polymer terminally havingnan alkoxysilyl group, the polymer being a reaction product ofna compound (A1) containing no anionic group and having pluralnisocyanate-reactive groups, a compound (A2) having an anionicngroup and plural isocyanate-reactive groups, a polyisocyanatencompound (A3), and an alkoxysilane compound (A4) containingnan isocyanate-reactive group; (B) a basic compound; (C) water; and (D) a gelling agent. n The self-curable water-based solid adhesives of thenpresent invention can be applied with good workability, havengood fitting after attachment, have good adhesion to plastics,nmetals and glass and exhibit excellent heat resistance and waternresistance after curing. They are highly safe to humans andnthe environment. They also have excellent shape retention andnslidability and can be easily applied. In addition, they cannbond adherends by contact bonding despite that they arenwater-based solid adhesives. Accordingly, the self-curablenwater-based solid adhesives of this invention are very useful nas stick adhesives. |
