The present invention relates to a method for protecting a flooring or lining material, in particular ceramic materials, from staining substances and indelible agents, by means of a surface treatment with a photopolymerizable composition and subsequent curing by means of radiation (UV-VIS). The present invention also relates to ceramic materials, in particular polished porcelain stoneware with reduced soiling and staining characteristics. |
