The invention concerns a method for determining at least one of the characteristics selected among three components of a resultant of forces exerted by the road surface on the contact zone of a tyre and the self-alignment torque generated by the tyre, which consists in deducing said characteristic from at least two measurements of circumferential expansion or contraction in at least one sidewall of the tyre in two spatially fixed points, located at different azimuths along the circumference. |
