The lubricant compositions of this invention comprise ansynergistic combination of a dispersed, hydrated, alkali metal borate and atnleast one phosphorous-containing compound wherein the total phosphorousnemployed in the composition is no more than about 0.08 weight percent basednon the total weight of the composition. |
