An ink jet recording medium for pigment ink,ncomprising a support and, superimposed thereon, at leastnone ink receptive layer, characterized in that at least onenof the at least one ink receptive layer is a layer composednof particles of a copolymer of 80°C or higher glassntransition temperature prepared from styrene and/or methylnmethacrylate (A) and another copolymerizable monomer (B),nthe particles having a weight average particle diameter ofn50 to 500 nm. This ink jet recording medium for pigmentnink is excellent in yellowing resistance, ink absorptivity,ncolor density and water resistance and has glossy surface. |
