abstract Production of a resin lens with at least 1.45 refractive index using at least two resin materials comprises: (a) preparing a formed body with no fluidity from at least one resin material; (b) forming a cavity on the face to be adhered to the formed body; (c) injecting a raw material for another resin into the cavity; and (d) polymerizing this to prepare a molded resin article with a single structure. Production of a resin lens with at least 1.45 refractive index using at least two types of resin material comprises: (a) preparing a formed body with no fluidity from at least one resin material; (b) forming a cavity on the face to be adhered to the formed body; (c) injecting a raw material for a resin with a different property into the cavity; and (d) polymerizing and curing this to prepare a molded resin article having at least two resin material with different properties adhered to one another and converted into a single structure. Part of the molded resin article is formed as an installment shape material comprising at least one resin material and the installment shape material is removed to give a small diameter and/or prescribed radius of curvature lens.
