A novel composition is provided which is predicable by an Actinomycete . Thencellulase has an approximate calculated molecular weight of 36 kD and has a pHnoptimum at about 40°C of 8 and 60°C of 7. Also provided is a DNA encoding saidncellulase, a method for producing the cellulase and applications thereof. |
