abstract A method for making a photosensitive resin printing plate whichncomprises at least (1) the exposure step of forming a latent imagenin an aqueous-developable photosensitive resin layer of a printingnplate material by irradiating the printing plate material with anray of active light, (2) the development step of forming a reliefnimage from the latent image by dissolving or dispersing thenphotosensitive resin layer that forms the latent image into andeveloper that contains water as a main component, and (3) the dryingnstep of removing the developer from the printing plate having thenrelief image, the method being characterized in that a photosensitivenresin layer component-dissolved or dispersed developer producednin the development step is subjected to a reduced pressurendistillation, and is therefore reused as a developer, and a residuenproduced by the reduced pressure distillation is solidified.nFurthermore, a photosensitive resin printing plate materialndeveloper processing apparatus forprocessing a photosensitive resinnlayer component-containing developer characterized by comprisingnan evaporator that reduces a pressure of the developer, a coolernthat recovers a developer by condensing a developer vapor, and andetachable inner container provided within the evaporator. n A developer produced as a result of the development of anphotosensitive resin printing plate material and, more particularly,nan aqueous-developable photosensitive resin printing plate material,ncan be reused without a reduction in the developing speed nornaggregation of a photosensitive resin layer component.
