abstract | A methacrylic resin produced by copolymerizing ancomposition in the presence of a radical initiator, thencomposition comprising methyl methacrylate and a specifiedncompound. Further, there are provided transparent membersnincluding a transparent member for automobile and antransparent member for display, which are produced by moldingnthe above methacrylic resin. A methacrylic resin which isnexcellent in transparency, heat resistance, chemicalnresistance and impact resistance can be produced with highnproductivity without the occurrence of runaway ofnpolymerization reaction. The transparent membersnincluding a transparent member for automobile and antransparentmemberfordisplay, produced by molding the abovenmethacrylic resin, are excellent in properties such asntransparency, heat resistance and impact resistance. |
