abstract |
A high-quality tiled display system and a method fornmanufacturing the same are provided, wherein the tiledndisplay system includes organic EL display panels havingnimproved high contrast by using a black matrix and hasninconspicuous boundaries. A UV-curing resin (62) is appliednonto principal surfaces of tiled display panels (60), and ansealing substrate (66) is then placed onto a surface havingnthe resin thereon. In this operation, it must be avoidednthat there are bubbles between the UV-curing resin (62) andnthe sealing substrate (66). The position of the sealingnsubstrate (66) on the tiled display panel (60) is thennadjusted. This adjustment is performed so as to allow thenblack matrix (64) to be positioned correctly above thenauxiliary wires (23) of the ribs (22) and to be positionedncorrectly above the boundaries (68) of the display panelsn(50). The UV-curing resin (62) is irradiated with UV beamsnto set the resin to fix the sealing substrate (66) to thentiled display panels (60), and a tiled display system (70)nis then completed. |
