abstract | A reagent and a method for assaying activity of a biologicalncomponent are provided, which enable to avoid interference of ancoexisting non-objective substance such as bilirubin or hemolyticnhemoglobin. n A reagent for assaying a biological component comprises atnleast one of thiodiglycolic acid, β-thiodiglycol and methionine. n In order to avoid the interference of hemolytic hemoglobin, at leastnone of thiodiglycolic acid, β-thiodiglycol and methionine is addednto a reagent. In order to avoid the interference of blirubin, atnleast one of thiodiglycolic acid, β-thiodiglycol, methionine,nthiourea and sodium sulfite is added to a reagent. Further, sodiumnlauryl sulfate (SDS) is added in combination with any of the abovenadditives. |
