Acrylic mat thermoplastic resin films and process for producing the same |
abstract |
Acrylic matt thermoplastic resin films having excellentnprintability, flex whitening resistance, impact resistance and solventnresistance, and a process for the preparation thereof are provided. Thenfilms made of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising 100 partsnby weight of an acrylic resin (A) and 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of ancrosslinked acrylic polymer (B) as a matting agent are prepared by anprocess wherein the resin composition is kneaded and formed into a film, nand the both surfaces of the film are simultaneously brought intoncontact with rolls between them, one roll being kept at a temperature ofnnot less than the glass transition temperature Tg of the resinncomposition and the other roll being kept at a temperature of less thannthe Tg, whereby the film surface contacted with the roll having antemperature of Tg or higher is converted into a mirror surface and thenfilm surface contacted with the roll having a temperature lower than Tgnis converted into a matt surface. |
