abstract |
(1) An ultraviolet curable resin composition for an alignment film which comprises at least one (meth)acrylate compound having one or more of polar groups and one or more (meth)acryloyl groups in its molecule and a photopolymerization initiator; and an alignment film which is prepared by curing the composition with an ultraviolet ray. (2) A protective layer provided between a polymer film and a liquid crystalline compound layer for suppressing or cutting off the migration of a substance, which is present in the polymer film and capable of changing optical characteristics of the liquid crystalline compound layer, to the liquid crystalline compound layer. (1) There are provided an ultraviolet curable resin composition for an alignment film and an alignment film which is prepared by curing the composition with an ultraviolet ray. (2) The migration of a substance which is present in a polymer film and capable of changing optical characteristics of a liquid crystalline compound layer to the liquid crystalline compound layer is suppressed or cut off. |
