Bunte salt azo dye compound |
abstract |
The invention relates to a Bunte salt azo dye composition comprising an azo dyencontaining at least one Bunte salt group. The resulting dye is water soluble materialnwhich is useful in the rapid dyeing of natural and synthetic fibers. The Bunte salt azo dyenof the present invention can be used without requiring a mordanting step or anconcurrent or pre-reducing step to condition fibers of animal hair to accept the dye tonachieve strong color performance. |
