The invention relates to compounds of formula (I) wherein R5 is chosen from the following groups: -NH-CO-R2 or -CO-NH-R2 wherein R2 is a C1-C3 alkyl group wherein X can be Cl, Br, or wherein n represents 1 - 3, in the form E, Z, or a mixture of two isomer forms having antimitotic, antiproliferative and antivascular properties by inhibition of the polymerization of tubulin into microtubules. |
