titleOfInvention Process for the production of a carrier membrane of a biohybride organ from a asymmetrically functionalized porous polyimide membrane and biohybride organ comprising said membrane
abstract The invention relates to an asymmetrically functionalized polyimide membrane, which can be obtained by using a previously formed polyimide membrane as a starting material; a surface of the polyimide membrane is brought into contact with a functionalizing solution during a period of time ranging from 1 second to 1 hour; the functionalizing solution contains at least one modifier at least partially dissolved therein which comprises one amino group for covalent coupling of the modifier to the polyimide in addition to at least one other functional group per molecule; the other functional group is selected in such a way that it is present in a free form after covalent coupling to the polyimide and after functionalization of the polyimide membrane; the polyimide membrane is brought to a high temperature during or after it is brought into contact with the functionalizing solution, whereupon it is subsequently cleaned and dried. Said membrane can be used in bio-hybrid reactors and can be produced economically.
