A method of assessing the risk of an individual of suffering from atherosclerosis wherein the method comprises: a) removing anti-lipoprotein immune complexes from a sample from the individual; b) measuring the level of cholesterol/lipoprotein associated with said anti-lipoprotein immune complexes; and c) determining thereby the risk of atherosclerosis in the individual. |
