abstract |
The present invention relates to nucleic acids and polypeptidesnassociated with colorectal lesions. The invention is more specificallynrelated to a nucleic acid encoding a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR)nand splicing variants thereof and the polypeptide transcribed thereof,nthe expression of which is significantly altered in association withncolorectal cancer and other cancers. Another aspect of the nucleic acidsndisclosed herein are transcripts of the gene disclosed herein, that arendifferentially produced in tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.nFuthermore the present invention provides a method for early diagnosis,nprognosis and monitoring of the disease course and for therapy andnvaccination of colorectal lesions. |
