The presentnhoneycomb structure body contains refractory grains such asnsilicon carbide grains and the like, but it can be producednat a relatively low firing temperature at a low price, itnis sufficiently porous and high in specific surface area,nand it can be used as a filter for purifying automobile exhaustngas, a catalyst carrier, and the like under the high SVnconditions.
