titleOfInvention Sample support for chemical and biological samples
abstract A sample support for assaying chemical and biological samples with free binding sites for the coupling of chemical or biological materials, comprises a surface made from a plastic or a plastic composite, on which free binding sites are formed at least in a region of the surface by means of a functionalisation, comprising at least one functional group. A sample support is provided in the form, in particular, of a chamber with a channel system, whereby the surface of the channels is functionalised by means of said plastic. Chemical and biological samples can be immobilised by the use of said sample support and then directly assayed.
