titleOfInvention |
A polyurethane resin derived from hydrophilic polyol components |
abstract |
The present invention is related to a polyurethane resin being the reaction product ofnat least one diisocyanate and a group of components having isocyanate reactivenfunctional groups, said group of components comprising a first group of one or morenpolyether polyols each having an average molecular weight in the range of betweenn1000 to 10000g/mol, a second group of one or more polyether polyols each havingnan average molecular weight in the range of between 400 to 10000g/mol and beingnhydrophilic and water-soluble, a third group of one or more polyols each having annaverage molecular weight of equal or less than 800 g/mol, and at least one aminenand a reaction terminating agent, wherein the ratio of the equivalent weights of thendiisocyanate to the components having isocyanate reactive functional groups isnselected such that essentially all of the isocyanate groups of the diisocyanate arenpresent as the reaction product with one of said isocyanate reactive functionalngroups. |
