abstract There is provided an insecticide transpiration apparatus capable of transpiring insecticide at room temperature. The apparatus includes an apparatus main body (1) having a recipient recess (11) capable of accommodating an insecticide cartridge (2), an insecticide cartridge (2) rotatably supported in the recipient recess (11), a driving means which is composed of a motor (4) connected to a rotation support shaft (24) of the insecticide cartridge (2) and an electric source and which is contained in the apparatus main body (1), and a cover (6) pivoted to the apparatus main body (1) so as to cover the insecticide cartridge (2) in the recipient recess, wherein the insecticide cartridge (2) includes an annular hollow structure (21) which accommodates granular insecticide-impregnated bodies (3) and which has openings (22,23) in an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface thereof, a core portion (25) situated at the center of the hollow structure (21) and connected to the rotation support shaft (24), a plurality of spoke portions (27) connecting the core portion (25) and the hollow structure (21), and blade portions (26) integrally formed with the hollow structure (21) so as to extend from the inner peripheral surface toward the center thereof and adapted to promote passing of air from the inner peripheral surface to the outer peripheral surface of the hollow structure. <IMAGE>
