titleOfInvention | Tread rubber composition and pneumatic tire employing the same |
abstract | A tread rubber composition improved both in grip performance onnice-covered and snow-covered road surfaces and in abrasion resistance isnprovided. The tread rubber composition contains aluminum hydroxidenhaving an untamped density of not more than 0.60 g/cm 3 , a DOP oilnabsorption of at least 70 cm 3 /100g and less than 250 cm 3 /100g, and a BETnspecific surface area of at least 30 m 2 /g and not more than 350 m 2 /g in annamount of 5-60 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of anrubber component containing at least 50% by weight of at least one ofnpolyisoprene rubber and polybutadiene rubber. The tread rubberncomposition has a tanδ peak temperature of not more than -45°C and a typenA durometer hardness at 0°C of not more than 64. |
