Conventional pressure vessels for refrigerants such as chlorodifluoromethane or 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane are made of steel and therefore have a considerable weight. The invention provides that the pressure vessel is composed of two identical half-shells, which consist of an aluminum alloy and are produced in a multi-stage deep-drawing process in one operation without intermediate annealing with a wall thickness of 4.7 to 5.2 mm. The container is light and relatively inexpensive to manufacture. No rust, scale or other contaminants occur inside the pressure vessel. |
