titleOfInvention | Process for making additives containing ammonium dinitramide |
abstract | There is a process for making fine particulatenAdditives such as stabilizers, burn-off modifiersnor energy carriers, offset particles of ammonium dinitramiden(ADN) proposed. In order for a homogeneous distributionnto ensure the fine particulate additives in the ADN particles, nhydrophilic additives are migrated into the ADN particles, nby placing the additives in a matrix liquid, innwhich either or not the additives as well as the ADNnare hardly soluble, are dispersed and the dispersionnto a temperature in the range or above thenMelting temperature of the ADN is heated. The ADN is in thenDispersion introduced and emulsified in the molten statenand brought into contact with the additives. Subsequentlynthe emulsion is brought to a temperature below thenThe melting temperature of the ADN is cooled and the solidnADN particles with the incorporated additives from the matrix liquidnseparated. To emulsify the ADNnthe matrix liquid e.g. agitated by means of stirrers ornsubjected to ultrasound. |
