titleOfInvention Micro-structured, self-cleaning catalytically active surface
abstract The invention relates to a micro-structured, self-cleaning, catalytically active surface comprising elevations and indentations containing a catalytically active material in the indentations. The invention also relates to a method for producing a micro-structured, self-cleaning, catalytically active surface and a catalytic moulded body possessing such a said surface, whereby a support surface is powder coated with particles having a size of 0.05 - 200 mu m and is subsequently coated with a catalytically active material. In a preferred embodiment of the inventive method, (a) a metal base layer is optionally applied to one support surface by deposition of a layer of a solution, (b) a first metal layer containing incorporated particles with a size of 0.005 200 mu m is applied to the support surface or optionally the surface of the base layer by deposition of a layer of a solution containing the dispersed particles, and (c) the first layer is coated with a catalytically active second layer.
