Nucleoside analogues expressed by the following generalnformulan n where B represents an aromatic base having carbonylnoxygen at the 2-position, or a 2-hydroxyphenyl group,nor oligonucleotide derivatives containing one or more ofnthe nucleoside analogues are provided. n The oligonucleotide derivatives are triplex-formingnoligonucleotide derivatives which bind specifically tontarget double-stranded DNA with high affinity in thenantigene method to form triplexes, and can thereby controlnand inhibit the expression of relevant genes efficiently,nand which show high resistance to nucleases. |
