abstract The system (1e) to spray a mist of powder/liquid/gas (3), in an enclosed space, has a tank (5) to contain it with an ignition propellant unit (39) at one end of the tank, which generates a propellant gas to force the contents into a spray unit (7). The spray unit, which generates a mist, is a tube with a number of outlet jets (15) in the tube mantle to deliver a spray mist into the protected space. One end of the spray tube is connected to the other end of the tank so that the propellant gas forces the contents into both ends of the spray tube.
