abstract The present invention provides for a system and method for supplying medical products over the Internet. The system facilitates the selection and ordering of medical products by the medical staff while providing a mechanism whereby an administrator or purchasing agent can control the final purchase decision. The system may includes client computers (20a) and a server (or servers) computer (20b) comunicating with each other by way of communication network (80). Medical staff can create custom orders that may be shared in within an organization or reused. Such sharing of orders allows medical staff to create complex customized orders that can be grouped by medical procedure or the like.
