titleOfInvention Flavone-containing plant extract solutions having improved storage and heat stability
abstract The invention relates to flavone-containing plant extract solutions that are characterized by improved storage and heat stability with regard to their content in pharmaceutically relevant ingredients (especially flavones and/or terpenes). The inventive plant extract solutions contain the corresponding plant extracts in an aqueous alcohol solvent in an amount of from 2-40 % m/m alcohol in water. The pH of said solutions is in the acidic range of from pH 2 to pH 6. The solutions are used in the production of two-component medicaments, namely said flavone-containing plant extract solution as the component (A) and a sterile buffer salt solution that has a physiologically acceptable composition as the component (B). The two components (A) and (B) are mixed for administration but are produced separately and stored separately in separate containers until administered.
