The present invention relates to a urea derivative of the nformula (1)n nwherein each symbol is as described in the specification, anpharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and pharmaceutical usenthereof. The compound of the present invention has a C5anreceptor antagonistic action and is useful as an agent for thenprophylaxis or treatment of diseases or syndromes due toninflammation caused by C5a [e.g., autoimmune diseases such asnrheumatism, systemic lupus erythematosus and the like, sepsis,nadult respiratory distress syndrome, chronic obstructivenpulmonary disease, allergic diseases such as asthma and thenlike, atherosclerosis, cardiac infarction, brain infarction,npsoriasis, Alzheimer's disease and serious organ injury (e.g.,npneumonia, nephritis, hepatitis, pancreatitis and the like) duento activation of leukocytes caused by ischemia, trauma, burn,nsurgical invasion and the like]. In addition, it is useful asnan agent for the prophylaxis or treatment of infectiousndiseases caused by bacteria or virus that invades via a C5anreceptor. |
