The brushing apparatus comprises positionnsensors (100) for detecting the width direction edges of the metal stripn(P), wherein the position sensors (100) are provided with emittingnportions (101) each located in a position corresponding to an end of thenbrush roll for emitting linear flows of water or air, etc. from a sidenabove or below the metal strip (P) to the other side and receivingnportions (102) for receiving the linear flows and outputting detectionnsignals to the control unit. |
