Inflating device and method of use |
abstract |
A new inflating device (10) and method for inflating an inflatable object are described. The inflating device includes two compartments: one (1) containing a gas-generating agent and the other (12) containing an activating agent. When mixed, the gas-generating agent and the activating agent produces a gas in situ. The device further includes an activator (13) connected to both compartments and is capable of effectuating mixing between the two agents upon activation. A hose assembly (14) of the inflating device delivers a the gas generated to an inflatable object, such as a flat tire. |
